The New Zealand Lotteries Grants Board announces $750,000 contribution to new life-saving facility at Muriwai.

June 2010 – RDC Issues the Trust with Resource Consent. The ARC confirms $450,000 funding for siteworks and utility reticulation. RDC confirms $150,000 to allow the Trust to commission financial architectural and technical consultancy to obtain a building permit.

October 2009 – Muriwai Lifeguard Amenities Trust Established and assumes responsibility for the project.

Jasmax invited to prepare designs for The Surf Club at Muriwai for consulting with the local community.

Auckland Regional Council agrees to make the new site for The Surf Club at Muriwai available.
